The Executive Chairman of Ojodu LCDA, Lagos State, Hon Segun Odunmbaku, has assured Constituents of the avowed commitment of his administration to foster inclusive democracy and prosperity through people-centered projects.
In his goodwill message marking the Democracy Day, Hon Odunmbaku said, “Today as we celebrate *Democracy Day*, we commemorate Nigeria’s long and eventful journey to the democratic freedom we enjoy today—a path shaped by the resilience, sacrifices and unwavering hope of our people. From the struggle against military rule to the restoration of civilian governance in 1999, our nation has remained committed to building a democracy rooted in justice, equity and the rule of law”.
“As we reflect on how far we have come, we must also recognize the ongoing reforms by the *President Bola Ahmed Tinubu* administration through it’s *Renewed Hope Agenda* aimed at deepening participatory governance and entrenching democratic values in every tier of government. These reforms reinforce the importance of citizen engagement, transparency and accountability in delivering the dividends of democracy.”
“In *Ojodu LCDA*, our administration through its *HEYS Agenda* remains committed to fostering inclusive democracy and prosperity through people-oriented projects and developmental strides. We have continued to cascade development to the grassroots, ensuring that every ward, every community and every resident feels the impact of responsive and responsible leadership.”
“As we look forward to the forthcoming local government elections, I humbly call on all our citizens to remain actively engaged in the democratic process. Your votes are powerful tools for continuity, stability and progress. Let us come together once again to sustain the vision and achievements of this administration for a better *Ojodu LCDA*.”
“May the ideals of democracy continue to guide our actions, unite our people and inspire us to build a brighter future for *Nigeria*. Happy Democracy Day! Hon Segun Odunmbaku concluded.
