We’ll Deliver Agboyi Bridge, Improve Living Standard, Sanwo-Olu Assures Residents

The governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the 2019 gubernatorial election in Lagos State, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu has promised to deliver Agboyi Bridge, a critical infrastructure to the people of Agboyi-Ketu if elected governor.

Speaking at a Lagos East Senatorial District rally organised by the Sanwo-Olu Independent Campaign Organisation on Saturday, the gubernatorial candidate promised to deploy more efforts to the plans towards the construction and delivery of the bridge to the people, which he said would stimulate social economic activities in the area.

Sanwo-Olu said he was well prepared for the enormous task of moving Lagos state forward, noting that infrastructural development, upgrade and preservation of essential public amenities will enjoy a top place on his agenda towards building a greater Lagos.

He also said that he had designed a “viable and pragmatic” action plan that would help tackle human development challenges in the state, while assuring that the plan was geared towards improving the living standards of every Lagosian.

“Better days are ahead. We can assure you, the great people of Lagos East Senatorial District of this great State, particularly the residents of Agboyi-Ketu, who are our wonderful hosts today. We know all your concerns. We are aware of all your expectations. We know the Agboyi Bridge is a major concern to you all. Here’s the good news, we will deliver that bridge in good time. We will also ensure that there is improvement in our living standard in this state.

“There is a viable and pragmatic master plan designed to effectively address the issues around human development in this great state. I repeat, better days are ahead”, he said.

Reacting to Sanwo-Olu’s comment, a leader from the district who is currently a member of the Lagos State House of Assembly and the senatorial candidate of the APC for the district, Mr. Bayo Osinowo, stated that the people of Lagos East were fortunate to be visited by the gubernatorial candidate.

He also noted that it was a good opportunity to openly present the needs of the community to Sanwo-Olu, who he said, was a caring and thoughtful leader.

“We are very fortunate to have our governorship candidate here today. He’s a caring, thoughtful and trustworthy leader. He will do all that he has promised to do for us to improve the lives of the people of this state. As such, we must also rise up to give him an overwhelming vote that will bring about his victory in the next coming election. Anyway, I’m certain that with the interest I’ve observed amongst the people of our district and the crowd I can see today, Mr. Sanwo-Olu will receive unprecedented votes from the people of Lagos East”, Osinowo said.
