The General Overseer of Love of Christ Generation Church, London, who doubles as the Life Matron of Buruj Sports Academy, Rev. Mother Esther Abimbola Ajayi has called on well-meaning Nigerians to rise to the challenge of encouraging the youths in the country by committing some of their resources to the task of helping to fulfil their sporting potentials.
Speaking after featuring in a radio programme at the premises of Radio Lagos/Eko FM on Monday morning, the clergywoman who is known the world over as a great philanthropist lambasted some corrupt minded Nigerians who are fond of stealing large chunk of public fund for personal use, saying the best way to live is to give for the upliftment of the standard of living of the less privileged in the society.
The Iya Adura 1 disclosed that her belief in generous giving, most especially when it came to noble cause, has made her as No. 1 supporter of the Ikorodu-based outfit. According to her, more well-meaning Nigerians should join her now that the management are set to export the young players to the United Kingdom to participate in the year’s edition of Manchester Super Cup to defend the title they won last year.
She expressed satisfaction over the way the academy was being managed and prayed for their success in the years ahead.
