Head coach of Prince Kazeem Eletu Queens, Damilare Jaiyeola has confessed that their next match against Young Talent 99 in the semi-final of Winner Golden Bet Lagos State Challenge Cup would be tough.
Jaiyeola in a chat with our correspondent said having reached the semi-final stage of FA Cup, he is optimistic that his team can progress to the final stage.
He admitted that their opponents have quality players who can wreak havoc and charged his girls to double their effort if they want to go beyond the semi-final stage.
He however urged his girls to remain focused and shun any form of distraction that may affect their performance.
“We are looking forward to another tough game against Young Talent 99. We know much about our opponents and we need to prepare mentally and psychologically in order to achieve good results,” he said.
Jaiyeola thanked club chairman, Prince Kazeem Eletu for his support given the team since the competition started and promised the club boss a good outing in their remaining matches.
The Lagos based premier club, FC Robo Queens would face Dannaz Queens in the second semi-final. The matches are scheduled for the Teslim Balogun Stadium, Surulere, Lagos on Sunday.
