It was like home coming for CP Oluhundare Jimoh Moshood after the Police Service Commission announced him as the new Commissioner of Police in Lagos State. He takes over from CP Olarewaju Ishola, who is yet to be assigned a new portfolio.
P.M.EXPRESS reports that though CP Ishola did his best before he was removed but his unexpected removal created suspicion that he may have offended many people especially those in the top hierarchy of power.
He was allegedly accused by his course mates, journalists and members of the public as being high handed and arrogant. But others still commended him for his efforts before he was removed.
What was obvious in the public space was his poor communication; how to relate with members of the public, journalists and handling of crisis situations especially the ongoing one at the State House of Assembly.
