According to the Library of Congress: “Elections provide opportunities for advocates of policies for social change and those favouring social stability to advocate their particular cause”.
Any party that convinces the electorate with their plans of action is normally elected.
However in a democracy like what we practise in Nigeria, there is a need for us to look beyond politicking and electioneering and link our electoral process to development. That is where Gov. Uzodimma stands out from the crowd.
The pains and needs of the citizens of Imo State are paramount to him as he strives to ameliorate such with people-oriented projects and sustained delivery of dividends of democracy
His road reconstruction project is second to none.
All across the world, it is a norm for political office holders to desire re-election and it is a valid aspiration especially for a political leader, who is visionary, sacrificial and caring like Gov. Uzodimma.
His fist term has been abundantly successful, hence engendering the need for a second term.
Another term in office will provide more time for the Governor to  continue with his Recovery, Rehabilitation and Reconstruction efforts that have gained national and global recognition.
A second term will enable Governor Uzodimma refine aspirations, reassess his administration’s priorities, identify barriers to progress and reevaluate his administration’s goals.
Now the question is why does Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodimma deserve a second term in office?
He deserves a second term in office because he has to complete his people – oriented projects and total transformation of Imo State.
Gov Uzodimma deserves a second term because he has requisite experience and maturity.
This is buttressed by the fact that being a good leader is something one learns and perfects with diligence, compassion, persistence and experience.
Without doubt, true leadership is about striving to become better in all areas of life and empowering everyone around you to become the best versions of themselves.
Gov. Uzodimma deserves a second term in office because it is legal and approved by the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria
The Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria truly supports a second tenure in office for any executive position such as the president or the governor hence the aspiration of Gov. Uzodimma is within the ambit of the law.
Gov. Uzodimma deserves a second term because he has track record of achievements.
In fact, the accomplishments of Gov. Uzodimma during his first term cannot be gainsaid and even the unseen beings in Imo State are clapping for him.
Gov. Uzodimma deserves a second term in office because he is the best among the rest.
According to President John  Quincy Adams, former president of the United States: “If your actions inspire others to dream more, learn more, do more and become more, you are a leader.” Frankly, the  foregoing captures the personality and leadership qualities of Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodimma – the man that sees farther than others see and who sees before others see.
Gov. Uzodimma deserves a second term because he has better clout and connections.
He commands more respect within and outside the shores of Imo State especially at the federal level than any other personality in Imo State presently.
As a former Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and accomplished businessman, Gov. Uzodimma has access to very important personalities in Nigeria including President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and this he has been using to attract good things to Imo State and will continue to do so in his second term.
Gov. Uzodimma deserves a second term in office because he has been tried and tested and found worthy.
According to Lance Secretan: “Leadership is not so much about technique and methods as it is about opening the heart. Leadership is about inspiration — of oneself and of others. Great leadership is about human experiences, not processes. Leadership is not a formula or a programme, it is a human activity that comes from the heart and considers the hearts of others. It is an attitude, not a routine.”
Uzodimma, has been able to give a good account of himself as Governor just the same way he excelled as Senator. He inspires, builds and represents what true leadership can be.
Gov. Uzodimma deserves a second term because he loves Imo State and Imo people.
There is no controversy about the fact that Governor Uzodimma loves Imo people sincerely and that is the reason why he is bent on offering sacrificial leadership. His aim is to institute a new normal of enduring prosperity, good governance and endless flow of dividends of democracy in Imo for everyone.
Gov. Uzodimma deserves a second term because he is a godly man with abundant grace.
Absolutely, Gov. Uzodimma is a God-fearing man with overflowing milk of human kindness and this is enhanced by the abundant grace of God that makes him to succeed where others fail, that enabled him recover his stolen mandates first for the Senate and later for the leadership of Imo State. The same grace, will make him get re-elected as Governor so that he will complete his service to Imo people.
Gov. Uzodimma deserves a second term because he is a man of integrity that keeps his promises
It is abundantly clear. He has delivered and keeps delivering on all the promises he made to Imo people. The accomplishments are so many that some like former President Muhammadu Buhari and other well-meaning people have described them as “Revolutionary.”
Gov  Uzodimma deserves a second term in office because, he knows how to manage crisis.
According to Brian Tracy: “The true test of leadership is how well you function in a crisis.”
Upon assumption of office, Gov. Uzodimma met an empty treasury, yet he successfully managed the inherited financial hopelessness from mandate thieves. It was not long before the COVID-19 Pandemic began to unsettle the world and it is a fact that Imo State under Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodimma, recorded the lowest number of cases of COVID-19 and deaths because Gov. Uzodimma did the needful with equanimity and total determination. Thereafter, it was the nationwide EndSARS Protest, which he handled with much wisdom and ensured that peace reigns in Imo State. Immediately after, the monster of insecurity reared its ugly head but Gov. Uzodimma was firm and dispassionate in dealing with it.
It is clear that nobody can do it better than Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodimma and let me state unequivocally that it is unnatural and counterproductive to change a winning team halfway.
Gov. Uzodimma needs the support of everyone. Be part of the winning team. Identify with a success story and I am confident that with Gov. Uzodimma at the helm the best is yet to come.
God bless Imo State!
