Why Edo Central Should Support Dr Joseph Ikpea For Senate – Chief Ezewele Cyril

The National President of Peace Ambassadors, Amb. Ezewele Cyril Abionanojie, has enjoined the people of Edo Central to vote for Dr Joseph Ikpea for the Senate because he has demonstrated over the years that he is a visionary leader that has the interest of the people at heart.
P.M.EXPRESS reports that Chief Ezewele stated this on the heels of the rerun election for the Senate seat coming up on 16th August, 2025, as scheduled by INEC.
Ezewele explained that many people, especially the youth from Esanland, have described Chief Ikpea as their mentor and source of inspiration.
He explained that through his foundations and scholarship programmes, he has empowered hundreds of students, artisans, and entrepreneurs, creating a base of loyal, well-trained future leaders who admire his humility and emulate his discipline.
Ezewele noted that Dr. Joseph Ikpea did step into public service not as a politician, but as a problem-solver. Therefore, his senatorial ambition is not just political for it is a generational movement from boardroom brilliance to legislative impact.
Chief Ezewele stated that Chief Ikpea also plays a significant cultural and spiritual role in Edo South and Central. As a traditional title holder and respected elder, he uses his influence to foster peace among communities, resolve disputes, and promote cultural heritage.
“He is often seen leading community-wide initiatives for infrastructure, security, and Inter-faith harmony. He is a man with a large heart towards his people in Edo state and the nation at large.”

He noted that because of his capacity,  several civic groups, many political giants in opposition parties, including Movement for a Better Esan, have endorsed and praised his achievements in the past.
“He emboldens transparency in governance, nearness to the people to understand their pains and crucial needs. He is keen on making developmental impacts with a servant-leadership mindset.”

His antecedent, as a Local Government Chairman gives an insight into the passionate needs of his people at the gross roots.
