The Senator representing Anambra Central Senatorial District, Uche Ekwunife PhD, has declared that she will be the most fulfilled Nigerian in the next 15 years.

She said this on Saturday, July 2, 2022, during her periodic interactive radio programme on Ogene 98.3 FM Enugwu-Ukwu.

The Senator said that in the next 15 years, many of the young graduates she has assisted to gain employment in Federal Ministries, Department and Agencies would have become top Directors in government, making her the most fulfilled Nigerian.

According to the grassroots friendly lawmaker, the level of youth unemployment in the country is alarming. “Each day, I wake up with calls and messages from young people who are desperately in need of employment or some sort of empowerment. I try as much as possible to assist as many as I can because facilitating employment for graduates and empowering young men and women give me great joy”, she added.

Senator Ekwunife further said that the ripple effect of empowering people when one is in a position to do so, is that such people grow to empower others, a situation she noted makes the society more prosperous.

The quintessential lawmaker also used the opportunity to call on Ndi Anambra to support Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s administration. She said that the Governor is laying a strong foundation for the state and needs the support of all irrespective of political affiliation.

Several people who called into the programme from many parts of the state described the Senator as the best the zone has had since inception. They encouraged her to remain steadfast in her delivery of effective representation to the people.

Recall that the federal lawmaker in April 2022, during her annual town hall meeting, released an 80-page scorecard document highlighting her achievements in the Senate in the past three years.
