Don’t get carried away, there is more to life than mere materialism, flamboyance or affluence. Just any crook can be prosperous. There are many prosperous charlatans called “Yahoo-Yahoo Fellows”, robbers, looters, embezzlers, financial record manipulators, their names are so many.
They live among us, and they are accorded the highest honour in a confused society as ours. They have only succeeded in robbing the society, and giving back to the same society, crumbs out of the abundance of their stolen booties. They blanket their atrocious activities with make-believe generosity.
They are in various communities, sponsoring all sorts of sociocultural and humanitarian projects. They also sit as political power brokers and god-fathers to political hooligans. They are prosperous political crooks, recruiting other groups of fools as their foot soldiers. They reign and rule in a sick and insane society.
Others masquerade themselves in cloaks of reputable merchants, living larger than life in the midst of emaciating and poverty-stricken people. They have much more than enough to buy their ways into public recognition, yet, they delight in oppressing already depressed neighbors. They are prosperous oppressors.
Worst of all are crooks in priestly hoods, parading under the guise of religious jingoism, festivities and activism. They are robed in cassocks of falsehood, robbing gullible fellows of their meager means of survival. They feed fat at the expense of their brainwashed followers and prosper in the midst of pauperized parishioners. Wolves they are in cloaks of doves.
Watch who you envy or follow, just any crook can be prosperous here!
