Police operatives at State Criminal Investigation Department, Yaba, have arrested a 38-year old woman, Aisha Chine, for allegedly maltreating her 15-year old house girl, Precious Kadiri, by assaulting and forcing her to drink waste water from a pipe as punishment in Lagos State.
P.M.EXPRESS reports that the incident happened at Ganiu Street, Satellite town, Lagos State, where they reside.
The Police alleged that the suspect, Mrs. Aisha, brought the victim, Precious, to live with her as her house girl and to assist her in domestic affairs at their home.
However, while Aisha was living with Precious, she was said to have maltreated her by inflicting injury on her body and went further to force her to drink noxious water, which drew the attention of their neighbours and the matter was reported to the Police in the area.
