P.M.EXPRESS reports that the incident happened on 18th September, 2025, at
No. 33, Dada Olowu Street, Ahmadiya, Meiran, Lagos.
According to the Police, the suspect had a disagreement with the complainant. In the process, the suspect was accused of attacking Irabor Joyce, a female victim, by flogging her with a broom at her residence in Meiran, Lagos.
The matter was reported to the Police at Meiran Division. The suspect was arrested and detained at the station for interrogation over her alleged conduct.
After thorough interrogation, the Police found her culpable and charged her before the Ogba Magistrate Court through the Commissioner of Police, for the violation of Section 172 of the Lagos State Criminal Law 2015.
The charge read:

However, she pleaded not guilty.
The Prosecutor, Supol Philip Ademigbuji, asked the Court to give a date for hearing since she pleaded not guilty to enable the Police to prove that she actually committed the alleged offence.

The matter was adjourned for mention while the defendant was remanded in custody at the correctional center at Kirikiri town, Lagos, pending when she will perfect her bail conditions.
