The Executive Chairman of Olorunda Local Council Development Area, Hon. Samson Folorunso Olatunde (SAMOLA), while delivering his address at the event held to commission Folashade Tinubu-Ojo Modern Market, Mowo, an initiative of Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola (Yayi), said that the lawmaker stands and his performance is unprecedented.
According to Hon. Olatunde; “We are seeing another remarkable project by our distinguished Senator Olamilekan Adeola. It has been his habit to always bring projects to our domain. Not only Olorunda but all over the 28 Local Governments and LCDAs in Lagos-West”.
“We appreciate him. He is an excellent performer. We have not seen this type of Senator elsewhere. He has been doing what nobody else has done and he has the largest Senatorial District.
He has constructed roads, done mass empowerment for the people and many more.”
The Council Chairman proceeded to pledge his commitment towards consolidating on the good works of his administration so far.
He announced existing plans to ensure that the status of the Age-Mowo market is of international standard, with efforts being put in place to erect more modern structures in the market soon.
According to him, this would ensure that the efforts of the distinguished Senator and the Samola-led administration are complementary.
Also to speak at the event was Hon. Sololmon Bolaji, Former Sole-administrator of Olorunda LCDA and Coordinator of the Yayi Movement in Olorunda, who commended the relentless efforts of the widely celebrated Senator.
According to Hon. Bolaji, the Senator is not resting on his oars with more projects set to be commissioned in the axis soon.
Alhaji Abu Akilapa, an APC Apex Leader also commended the Senator for his outstanding performance. He went on to highlight the role of Hon. Olatunde in facilitating and securing several beneficial projects for the benefit of the Council.
The Baale of Osun-egbado and the leadership of the market men and women also took turns to extend their gratitude to the Senator.
In his reponse, Senator Olamilekan, ably represented by Hon. Babatunde Ishola Quasim Raji (BIQ), applauded the Council Chairman.
“The Council Chairman is a fantastic personality, a very very wonderful man. And he likes working, he likes to continue to develop his area and he is very passionate about it.”
Speaking further, BIQ reiterated the unwavering commitment of the Senator to complete the projects he has embarked on in Badagry even though his constituency has now shifted.
He listed ongoing Health facilities, street light installations and many more as projects that are set to be commisioned soon. Upon completion, the above would be in addition to road constructions, construction of schools and a lot of empowerment programmes.
