According to the statement signed by National President of the Association, Mr. Chris Kohol, the Association sincerely appreciates the efforts of President Muhammadu Buhari and Mr. Sunday Dare in recognizing the plights and potentials of Nigerian young entrepreneurs by creating a N75Billion investment fund that will serve as credit and loan facility for aspiring and existing Nigerian young entrepreneurs cross the country.

According to Mr. Chris Kohol, this act of President Buhari deserves great commendation as it remains the very first of its kind by any Nigerian leader.

“He further reiterated that as a Business Association championing youth entrepreneurship development across Nigeria for the past 5 years as the umbrella body for Nigerian young entrepreneurs, YEN is very excited about this innovation. Our millions of members across Nigeria, USA and UK are also excited and grateful to President, Muhammadu Buhari and Mr. Sunday Dare for this great opportunity. As a body, we are very certain that this Fund, if well utilized as planned, will boost the country’s GDP and reduce the increasing unemployment rate in Nigeria which has been worsened by the COVID-19 pandemic” Mr. Kohol said.
