Last Sunday we wrote about the persistent pursuit of your God given dream to succeed, but your good dream and determination alone will not deliver results without a Solid plan.

Your faith in God should not preclude meticulous planning and hardwork.Your planning must be a product of a rigorous investigation of your subject of pursuit. Proverb 16:3 says “Commit thy works unto the Lord, and thy thoughts shall be established.”
That scripture did not say God will establish mere desires without plan.

Nigeria made a lot of progress in the 60’s and 70’s, because she followed well laid out Developement plans that were scrupulously implemented.

Knowledge about what you are pursuing is also key. Proverb 13:16 also says, “Every prudent man dealeth with knowledge: but a fool layeth open his folly.”

As Faith is also key (Hebrews 11:1), having a balance with planning is crucial – Faith without work is dead. There is no contradiction. Our Lord, Master and Saviour Jesus Christ was clear on this (Luke 14:28-30) “For which of you, intending to build a tower, sitteth not down first, and counteth the cost, whether he have sufficient to finish it? Lest haply, after he hath laid the foundation, and is not able to finish it, all that behold it begin to mock him, saying, this man began to build, and was not able to finish.”

Pursue your dream but plan well too and be on top of your game, you cannot fail!
