The General Officer Commanding (GOC) 3 Division and Commander Operation SAFE HAVEN (OPSH), Major General AE Abubakar, has showered encomiums on senior officers, who have served meritoriously in 3 Division and recently posted out of the division. The GOC/Commander OPSH was speaking while presenting gift items to the posted-out officers at Headquarters 3 Division, Maxwell Khobe Cantonment, Jos.
General Abubakar remarked that the sacrifice and dedication to duty by the officers during their tour of duty was highly appreciated. He noted the resilience and efforts put by the senior officers to harness resources together towards achieving the objectives of the Division.
The GOC/Commander OPSH further remarked that the division will miss the posted-out officers for their positive impact and contribution to the success of military activities in 3 Division. He urged the senior officers to always make themselves available for guidance and consultation. The GOC also appreciated the spouses of the officers for their moral and spiritual support to their husbands, that made them succeed in discharging their duties as military officers.
Appreciating the GOC/Commander OPSH, Officers and Soldiers of 3 Division for the kind gesture, the Outgone Chief of Staff 3 Division, Brigadier General David Kurmi noted that the gifts presented to them will remain indelible in their lives. He urged the officers to continue to work as family for the common good of the nation.
