The Anambra State Chairman of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, Chief Sir Ifeatu Obi-Okoye, has commended Governor Chukwuma Soludo for his concerted efforts towards promoting and supporting local brands.

 

Chief Obi-Okoye gave the commendation while reacting to the commissioning of Tiger Foods Manufacturing Plant, Obosi by Governor Soludo.

Chief Obi-Okoye said the support and enabling environment Governor Soludo is giving to investors will encourage more people to heed the think-home call and invest in Anambra.

 

He expressed satisfaction on how the Governor is marketing local brands and encouraged him to sustain the tempo in other to strengthen the economy of the state.

In his words; “The organized private sector is a major aspect of the state economy that the government needs to support and encourage, as the sector has the greatest potential to create employment and wealth opportunities for the people”.

 

“True to his expertise as a renowned economist, Governor Soludo has identified this and is supporting private companies to establish and thrive in Anambra state. The efforts at improving security across, the road infrastructure development drive, the broadband expansion initiative and many others, all point to the governor’s genuine strides towards creating the stability investments need to thrive in Anambra State.”

The Anambra APGA Chairman commended the Chairman of the company, Chief Celestine Ebubeogu, for siting the manufacturing plant in Anambra State, saying that he has exhibited the character of a true Patriot.

Chief Obi-Okoye used the occasion to re-echo Mr. Governor’s think-home call, maintaining that a stable, viable and progressive economy at the home front cannot be achieved without the support and investment of wealthy Anambra citizens.
