The residents of Ojokoro Local Council Development Area (LCDA) will enjoy a health free day courtesy of Youth Alive Ojokoro on Saturday, 11 November.
The one day event will hold at Adura playground, Adura, Alagbado, Lagos starting from 11am.
According to the Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the organisation, Tayo Emiola, medical personnel will be on ground to offer free services to the people free of charge. He said there will be free drugs, free medical checkups, free consultations and free health talks, while standby ambulance will also be stationed on the playground throughout the duration of the exercise.
“This programme, tagged Youth Alive Health Day 2017, is being held in collaboration with Pharmacist (Pastor) Ademola Iroko, with facilitating supports from some pharmaceutical companies. We are also glad with the endorsement of the programme by LCDA chairman, Hon. Hammed Idowu Tijani, who has always given us commendation for making sure that the community keeps developing, ” Emiola said.
To the chairman of the Youth Alive Ojokoro, Hon. Ismaila Odeyemi, the main objectives of the Youth Forum are community development and humanitarian services. “We also involve in environmental services, empowerment, health care services. We are the voice of the voiceless in Ojokoro,” he said.
