Yuletide: LNSA boss, Ifalade Oyekan Promises safe Celebration, Mobilize Officers to Strategic Locations

In view of the Christmas and New year celebrations, Lagos State Neighborhood Safety Agency, LNSA boss, Dr. Ifalade Ajasa Oyekan has reteriated his quest for a safer Lagos and also reaffirm his commitment and that of Governor Babajide Sanwoolu to ensuring Lagosians have an hitch free Xmas celebration and also enjoy their holidays.

Oyekan said that Governor Sanwo-Olu is not leaving any stone unturned in terms of security as he has directed all security and other law enforcement agencies to ensure all hands are on deck for a safe and secured celebration during this period.

Yielding to the call of Governor Sanwo-Olu on security, Oyekan has positioned commanding officers and heads of units to ensure officers are above board and also give intelligence report on places where breaking of law and order are imminent.

Oyekan via a memo, directed all Commanding officers within the local government areas in Lagos to mobilize their officers to strategic location to ensure traffic flow on major roads and also to give report and work in collaboration with the Police to ensure anyone who wants to cause trouble during this period in Lagos is made to face the full wrath of the law.

His words: “Governor Sanwo-Olu’s THEMES agenda is what we are still following and security of lives and property is very germane.

“Crimes are meant to be high during this holiday period but we have put necessary efforts in place to ensure no breaking of law and order in Lagos. We are collaborating with other law enforcement agent to ensure Lagosians have a safe celebration.

“I have directed all head of units to position their officers to be at alert. Mr Governor have equipped officers with necessary gadget to make securing lives and property easier for our agency so we can function optimally in full capacity. We will ensure we do our possible best to ensure Lagos witness one of the most peaceful holiday.”
