Zamfara State Governor, Dr. Dauda Lawal, has approved a minor cabinet reshuffle involving three commissioners.
The changes are aimed at strengthening governance efficiency and improving service delivery across the state.
The Secretary to the Zamfara State Government, Malam Abubakar Mohammad Nakwada, announced the redeployment on behalf of the governor.
According to the statement, the redeployment is intended to strategically reposition key ministries for better efficiency and effective implementation of the administration’s Rescue Agenda.
Commissioners affected are Hon. Abdulrahaman Tumbido who has been redeployed from the Ministry of Commerce and Industry to the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources.
Hon. Kasimu Yahya Kaura moves from the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources to the Ministry of Youth and Sports Development while Hon. Tasiu Musa Shinkafi has been redeployed from the Ministry of Youth and Sports Development to the Ministry of Commerce and Industry.
The redeployment takes immediate effect.
Governor Lawal directed the affected commissioners to ensure a smooth transition and complete all necessary handing-over processes within one week.
He charged them to bring renewed commitment, dedication, and innovation to their new assignments, with a focus on delivering results for the people of Zamfara State in line with the objectives of the Rescue Agenda.
The Rescue Agenda is the policy framework guiding the current administration’s development priorities in Zamfara State.
