Two teenage students of Government Technical College, Ikotun, Lagos between the ages of 14 and 15 years have been arrested for been in possession of charms which they brought to the school compound for reprisal attack on rival group.

The students which the police refused to disclose their names were apprehended by the principal of the school who handed them over to the police at Ikotun division.

P.M.EXPRESS gathered that most students in the school belong to different cult groups who fight for supremacy while recruiting more students to their camps.

It was as a result of this, our correspondent learnt, that have polarised the school into camps and cause constant fighting among the students.

On the day the suspects were arrested, sources said they have come to the school with charms and other dangerous weapons to fight with the rival group when the information leaked to the school management.

With the aid of the students, the two suspects were apprehended and handed over to the police, while others escaped and now at large.

Our correspondent gathered that the school had gained notoriety for cult activities by teen students who operate within the school premises and outside.

Many students were said to be lured, intimidated and forced to join the cult by placing them on oath which had made it impossible for them to disclose such information to their parents.

When our correspondent visited Ikotun Police Station, the suspects were seen at the station where they were detained and their charms recovered as exhibit.

However, efforts to speak with the DPO was futile as our correspondent was informed that the DPO went to the State Command headquarters in connection with the incident.

But sources at the station said the DPO was under intense pressure to caution and released the suspects to their parents which our correspondent was unable to confirm.

At the school, a member of the management who confirmed such incident declined to speak to our correspondent and said they were not authorized to speak to press as public servants.
