2019: Endorsement For Senator Tinubu, As Lagos Central Plans Two Million Man Walk

After the national convention of All Progressive Congress (APC), a mother of all walk is being planned for Lagos State.

PM EXPRESS exclusively gathered that the event, a two million man walk and endorsement ceremony, are being planned for Senator Oluremi Tinubu, Senator representing Lagos Central Senatorial District as the build up to the general election in 2019 gathers momentum.

The 2 million man walk,  according to the organisers, will be flagged off by 8 am at Tinubu Square on Lagos Island, down to Eko Bridge, Iddo, Otto, Oyingbo, Adekunle, Cemetery, Third Mainland Bridge Junction, Makoko Junction, Yaba LCDA, Panti Junction and terminated at the Mobolaji Johnson Sports Complex, Rowe Park Yaba by 10am.

PM EXPRESS also learnt that immediately after the long walk,  an endorsement ceremony for Senator Oluremi Tinubu will start within the complex of Rowe Park. It will be a grand event, which will be attended by APC stalwarts in Lagos State. People are also coming from all the senatorial districts in the state and other parts of western region to honour a woman of virtue who has impacted positively in the lives of many people.

Sources close to the organisers said the endorsement ceremony will be a political gathering mixed with entertainment as no fewer than 10 popular musicians will be on stage at the ceremony that will last till around 6pm on that day.

Prince Tajudeen Olusi will be the Father of the day with Olowo Eko Rilwan Akilolu the Royal Father of the day, while the wife of the Governor, Mrs Bolanle Ambode is the Mother of day.

Hon.  Olajide Jimoh, House of Representatives member, representing Lagos Mainland Federal Constituency is the Chief Host. Other hosts are House of Representatives member, representing Surulere Federal Constituency, Hon Femi Gbajabiamila, Speaker of Lagos State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Mudashiru Obasa, Deputy Speaker, Rt Hon Wasiu Sanni Eshinokun, Hon. Bayo Osinowo, Hon Oladele Adekanye, Hon. Lanre Oshun, Chairman of all chairmen in Lagos Central, Hon Kamal Bashua, all House of Representatives members, all House of Assembly members, all local governments and LCDAs chairmen in Lagos Central Senatorial District.

PM EXPRESS can reports that behind this programme as initiators are the big guns in Lagos Central who include Prince Hammed Olanrewaju Mohammed, Lagos Central Senatorial Youth Leader, Mrs Fadekemi Otitonaye, Lagos Central Senatorial Women Leader, Hon. Tajudeen Ajide, Chairman Surulere Local Government, Mrs Omolara Essien, Chairperson Lagos Mainland Local Government and Mrs Omobolanle Obe, Chairperson Coker Aguda LCDA.
