The National Chairman of the
Association of Local Government Vice Chairmen of Nigeria (ALGOVC) and Executive Vice Chairman of Ikorodu LGA, Aarebirin Hon. Princess Dr Folashade Olabanji-Oba, has eulogized Nigeria’s Former President, Muhammadu Buhari, describing his death as the end of an era.
In his tribute to Muhammadu Buhari, Dr Olabanji-Oba, the GDG, Asiwaju Distinguished Ambassadors Movement (ADAM) and Convener of Grow Ikorodu Movement said, “It is sad to lose our former President, Muhammadu Buhari, at this point in the history of our great nation when his fatherly advice and words of wisdom are needed the most. It is indeed a great loss to Nigeria, as a reputable and widely recognised patriot has gone home “.
“Muhammadu Buhari was a symbol of integrity, discipline and patriotism. Right from his early days of service in the Military to his time as Head of State and as a democratically elected President, he gave his all to the Nigerian project.”
“Buhari led with humility, embraced simplicity and championed the fight against corruption. Under his leadership, Nigeria saw major strides in infrastructure, agriculture and security.”
