The marriage between a couple, Mrs. Zainab Buhari and her husband, Babangida Ibrahim, has collapsed over  allegation of a squabble over sex between her and her husband in their Matrimonial home in Kaduna State.
Thus, the mother of four, Zainab Buhari, has filed a suit against her husband, Babangida Ibrahim, before a Sharia Court sitting at Rigasa, Kaduna, Kaduna State, seeking for the dissolution of the marriage that had lasted for several years.
The embattled woman alleged before the Court that her husband has been  subjecting her to dehumanising treatment by squeezing her neck and breasts in order to suffocate her for denying him sex. And as such she was no longer interested in the marriage and asked Court to dissolve the union.
An embittered Mrs. Zainab also told the Court that her husband always beat and leave her and their children with no food for several days.
“He grabs my neck to suffocate me, squeezes my breasts hard and demands for sex.
I take care of our children’s school fees, feeding, clothing and other needs. Whenever I run to my parents, they will beg me to return to my matrimonial home” she added.
She prayed the Court to dissolve their marriage so that she will move on with her life and be free.
However,  the defendant denied all the allegations brought against him.
The judge, Malam Salisu Abubakar Tureta, ordered Zainab to present her witnesses in Court to ascertain her claims before the Court.
The matter was adjourned for the continuation of the hearing.
