The Association of Alade Market Men and Women in conjunction with Ikeja Local Government, will be hosting a week long trade fair in the month of April.
In a chat with P.M. EXPRESS, the Iyaloja of Alade Market, Chief (Mrs) Aina Adenuga said that the fair will be an avenue to showcase and demonstrate their latest products and services in line with market trends. She said the market can boast of almost all lines of products and services unknown to many, so the fair offers the general public ample opportunity to shop and continue to shop after the fair with guarantee of pocket friendly goods and services.
The inaugural trade fair which is planned to hold from the second week in the month of April will last for seven days. The Sole Administrator of Ikeja Local Government, Engr. Abiodun Taiwo told P.M. EXPRESS that the council is partnering with the organisers of the fair because it provides opportunities for the various businesses and services located within the market and Ikeja environs to be showcased to the general public.
There are also plans to get eminent dignitaries and decision makers from across the state and beyond to visit and shop with their families throughout the duration of the fair. It will also serve the purpose of informing people who are not aware of the relocation of Alade Market to its present location.
The Market Officer, Mr Wole Ogunlolu confirmed to P.M.EXPRESS that plans are in top gear to ensure a successful trade fair.
