After crashing out of the ongoing Winners Golden Bet Lagos State Challenge Cup, Bucknor Football Club would be targeting a home win against their opponents, Layenda FC when both teams clash on Thursday evening in week 14 of Alimosho Football Coaches Council League.
The match would hold tomorrow [Thursday] at Igando Community HIGH School, Igando, Alimosho, Lagos
Bucknor who have not lost their home game would play attacking football to win their opponents so as to move up on the log of the table. A draw or lose to them would be a disappointment to their fans.
Team Manager of Bucknor Football Club, Habeeb Abidemi Adewale remained optimistic that his boys would do the needful by winning their home match and urged their fans to remain patient and support the team. He said they have put their FA Cup loss behind them and focused on Alimosho league which is very paramount to them.
“We are going for total victory against our opponents. We don’t want to take any chance because the second stanza of the league would be tougher than the beginning, “he said.
In a related development, Iyaloja General United, IGU would also go for victory against their opponents, Kedge Sport on Saturday. IGU have won their three consecutive home matches and they would be looking forward to another victory against Kedge Sport.
