Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu: The Tireless Campaigner!

Has there been a more energetic, emphatic and fully engaged campaigner for the Presidency as Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the annals of Presidential Campaigns in Nigeria? I truly doubt it!
When this great man and achiever declared… “Emi lo kan”  to signify his intent to vie for the Presidency many naively  misconstrued that to mean an arrogant appropriation and entitled arrogation of the highest political post in the land.
Little did they know that this was a declaration of absolute and resolute  readiness to serve his people and his country.
It was a declaration of purpose and one of intent.
It was not a declaration of conceit nor of undue sense of entitlement but one borne out of genuine  conviction and based on a lifetime of selflessly giving of himself and of empowering many others too.
In Greek mythology, The Three Fates or the Moirae (Clotho, Lachesis, and Atropos)  (called the Moirae) were said to be tasked with  spinning, measuring and cutting the thread of life. Deciding  and determining fate so to say.
Well on that day, their loom must have been spinning overtime for Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his germane and appropriate declaration since not only did he go on to win the APC Presidential primaries but won it in empathic and resounding fashion too.
And since then, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has left nothing to chance on the campaign trail.
From putting together an impressive campaign team to meeting with various stake holders to attending mega campaign rallies in all the 6 geo political zones and engaging with the masses, he has shown the vim, vigour and vitality of a man on a mission.  A man who understands that nothing good in life comes easy. A man who knows that fortune favours the bold and  no one has the right to an exalted position but that this  must be attained by graft, hard work and all hands on deck.
I doff my hat to the master campaigner and cross country marathon runner (because that’s the only thing we can compare his heavy and relentless campaign duties to).
Come February 2023, I am very optimistic and with utmost belief, that Nigerian voters will, in their millions across the entire nation reward his hard work and give him a well deserved chance at the helm of affairs of the nation to do what he does best….deliver good service to the nation. 🙏🏾Amen.
