The Executive Chairman of Ikeja Local Government Area, Lagos State, Comrade Akeem Olalekan Dauda, has said that bringing everyone under one unified umbrella remains the hallmark of his progressive ideology.
The Ikeja LG Boss stated this in his Christmas message to his teeming constituents.
Comrade Dauda said, “Dear Good People of Ikeja, I bring you warm Christmas greetings filled with love, peace, and renewed hope. As we celebrate the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ, I give all glory to God for His guidance, protection, and grace over Ikeja and over us as a people”.
“This Christmas is particularly special to me and my administration because it is our first Christmas in office, and it offers a moment to pause, reflect, and sincerely appreciate you; the resilient, supportive, and progressive people of Ikeja.”
“I want to express my deepest gratitude to you for the overwhelming support, trust, and contributions you have given to this administration from day one. It was through your ideas, your voices, your expectations, and your unwavering belief in our shared future that we collectively birthed the I.K.E.J.A Agenda; a people-driven roadmap designed to deliver inclusive governance, sustainable development, and better days for all.”
“Since assuming office, my team and I have been working tirelessly, day and night, to justify the confidence you placed in us. While we acknowledge that there is still much work to be done, we are proud of the modest but meaningful strides we have made so far in improving service delivery, strengthening community engagement, and laying solid foundations for a more prosperous Ikeja.”
“In the spirit of Christmas and true progressive values, this administration made a deliberate decision to raise the bar of Christmas gestures. We quadrupled what party members traditionally received in the past, and for the first time, ensured that all stakeholders were adequately taken care of. This was not by accident, it was a clear statement of our belief in inclusivity, fairness, and unity. Bringing everyone under one unified umbrella remains the hallmark of our progressive ideology, and we will continue to lead with that conviction.”
“Christmas reminds us of love, sacrifice, and togetherness. It reinforces our resolve to govern with compassion, to listen more, and to serve better. I assure you that your support has not been taken for granted, and it continues to inspire us to do more and achieve greater results for Ikeja.”
“As we celebrate, I pray that this season brings joy to your homes, peace to your hearts, and renewed strength for the year ahead. Together, with unity of purpose and shared commitment, we will continue to build the Ikeja of our dreams.
Merry Christmas and a Prosperous New Year to you and your families.
God Bless Ikeja. Better Days are Here” Comrade Akeem Dauda concluded.
