President Bola Tinubu has assured former President Muhammadu Buhari of his commitment to build on the infrastructure legacy he bequeathed to Nigeria during his leadership of the country’s first All Progressives Congress administration.
Tinubu made this pledge in a personal birthday message on the occasion of Buhari’s 82nd birthday on Tuesday, extending warm wishes for more good health, happiness, and fulfillment.
In his message, Tinubu appreciated the former President for his dedicated service to Nigeria.
He commended Buhari’s doggedness and resilience in contesting presidential elections in 2003, 2007, and 2011 before finally winning in 2015 and 2019, noting that these efforts serve as a lesson about perseverance.

Your doggedness and resilience in contesting presidential elections in 2003, 2007, and 2011 before finally securing victory in 2015 and 2019 are a powerful reminder never to give up.
