Now in its fourth edition, this highly anticipated program designed to empower farmers and agricultural entrepreneurs with the knowledge and tools necessary to thrive in today’s evolving agricultural landscape, will take place from Tuesday 17 September to Thursday 19 September 2024.

Under the theme “Cultivating a Right Future Through Agriculture,” the masterclass promises to deliver an unparalleled experience, offering participants deep insights into the business side of farming.

With renowned industry leaders such as Mr. Bamidele Aiyemibo and Dr. Ikechi Agbugba leading the charge, attendees can expect valuable knowledge-sharing and networking opportunities.

Additionally, agricultural finance expert Mr. Eze Nwakanma and aquaculture specialist Mr. Steve Okeleji will join a host of other industry leaders to provide a comprehensive, multidimensional program.

Key sessions of the masterclass will include:

Participants will explore financing options such as loans, grants, equity investment, and crowdfunding, alongside strategies for financial planning, risk management, and business scaling.

Agricultural Technology

Participants will gain practical knowledge on starting an agri-tech company with minimal resources. Industry experts will share strategies for integrating technology into agriculture, securing mentorship, and scaling ventures effectively even with limited capital.

Aquaculture

This session will focus on sustainable fish farming and aquatic food production. Participants will learn how to navigate the economic potential and practical challenges of starting and scaling aquaculture businesses, gaining actionable insights from experienced practitioners.

A special highlight of the event will be a session led by Uzoamaka Igweike, the visionary founder of Loom Craft Chocolate, one of Nigeria’s premier cocoa processing companies. With a background in engineering and business, Igweike will share her journey and insights into using entrepreneurship as a tool for economic development.

With over 20,000 expected participants, the free-to-attend event will offer a unique platform for farmers, agripreneurs, and business enthusiasts to explore new opportunities and strategies for success in Nigeria’s booming agricultural industry.
