The Captain of Buruj Sports Academy, Salaudeen Noah, has declared his readiness to play any role that may be assigned to him when this year’s edition of English and Welsh International Super Cup competition kicks off in United Kingdom.
The first son of the CEO of the academy, Salaudeen Waheed, Noah, who is well endowed with good physique had been deployed either as a top striker or attacking winger in previous competitions but having excelled in his new midfield role ahead of this year’s tournament, the coaching crew are considering to allow him to help the team in that role.
And while reacting to the new development the Borehamwood FC of England trialist said as the team captain, he is ever ready to fix in so that he can lead by example when hostilities begin in the Queensland.
“I am ever ready to play any role as long as it will help the team. In fact, I am enjoying my new role as attacking midfielder even though I like to score goals. I played in advanced forward role since I am a kid but I have been taught and encouraged to be ready to play anywhere as academy player. So, there is nothing new or special. I just want to help the team and lead by example as the skipper,” he enthused.
While looking back to the previous tournaments he featured in, the soft-spoken player quipped:
“I played Super Cup in Dubai and UK previously on couple of ocassion but I want to do better this time around. We have been training so hard. We just can’t wait for tournaments to kick off.”
