The Executive Chairman of Ikeja Local Government, Comrade Akeem Olalekan Dauda (AKOD), attended the 8th Fidau Prayer and Final Burial ceremony of Alhaji (Prince) Sulaiman Babatunde Saheed-Saba, which took place in Surulere.
The deceased, who passed on the 21st of October at the age of 67, was the father-in-law of Hon. Moyosore Adebanjo, the Executive Chairman of Onigbongbo LCDA.
The solemn event brought together family, friends, and dignitaries from various walks of life to honour the late Alhaji Saheed-Saba, who was remembered for his humility, devotion to Islam, and contributions to his community.
Among the dignitaries present were the Awuse of Onigbongbo, HRM Oba Olusegun Adeyemi Ajasa, Hon. Seyi Lawal, Member, Lagos State House of Assembly representing Ikeja Constituency 1; Vice Chairman, Hon. Shamsondeen Oloyede, Vice Chairman, Onigbongbo LCDA; Hon. Francis Nkwo, Leader of the Legislative House, Onigbongbo LCDA; Alhaji Kehinde Onifade, Thespian Saheed Balogun; and a host of other political and community leaders.
The Ikeja Council Chairman, Comrade Dauda, commiserated with Hon. Moyosore Adebanjo and the entire Saheed-Saba family, praying that Almighty Allah grants the departed Aljanah Firdaus and gives the family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
