The two traditional rulers from Delta State have moved and resolved a protracted multi million Naira business dispute between two of their sons over contractual disagreement in Lagos.

P.M.EXPRESS reports that the fight was between the Managing Director, Asco Security Company, Mr. Wilmer Ashaka whose office was located at Amuwo Odofin, Lagos and one, Spy Police officer, Supol Isaac Akpo.

The fight had persisted which even got to the Police Headquarters in Abuja and later ended up at the various High Court in Lagos.

However, the rift ended after their kings, HRH King Akpojotor Ekpo 1, Akpara Uku of Orogun Kingdom in Ughelli North LGA and HRH King Agbabe Ekpo 2 (JP) Ovie of Okpe-Isoko kingdom in Isoko, all in Delta State.

The monarchs waded into the matter following a letter addressed to them by one Apostle, Sunday Eweobaja – the leader of Cherubim and Seraphim, Spring of Joy (Ayo Nio) Cathedral, Idimu, Ikotun branch, Lagos.

It was gathered that Apostle Eweobaja urged the kings to intervene and resolved the matter amicably between them for peace to reign. Following the request, the monarchs invited the parties to Delta State, it was resolved and they accepted all the resolutions passed by the respected monarchs. It was there that parties were directed to embrace peace and withdraw all their cases in various courts in Lagos State.

The development was confirmed by the Onotukwu of Orogun Palace, High Chief, Aaron Edewor. He said that the two communities were brothers as such the parties involved in the dispute were brothers and there was urgent need to settle the matter between them. He said that the kings and their cabinet looked into the matter, have finally resolved and they accepted. Chief Edewor commended the kings for prompt intervention into the matter and thanked the parties for accepting the verdict as passed by the monarchs.

P.M.EXPRESS reports that some of  those who knew about the dispute and the recent developments of the settlement commended the parties and the kings for their efforts to resolve the matter amicably.

It was gathered that thereafter parties were made to embrace each other and ate together at the Palace where the matter was resolved before they returned to their base in Lagos with no more allegations and counter allegations between them.
