Enefe Will Not Make Promises He Cannot Keep – Ogbuefi Harris Chuma

As politicians in Oyi/Ayamelum Federal Constituency embark on war of words over the APGA October 2, 2018, primary elections, former governorship aspirant and Media Consultant, Ogbuefi  Harris Chuma, (Ogene Igbo) has advised the media handlers of Hon Gabriel Onyenwife, the aspirant for Oyi/Ayamelum Federal House of Reps not to heat up the polity with their utterances.

He gave the advice yesterday when the team of Anambra Digital Media Core Advocates led by Lady Ifeoma Okoye, and members of the association paid him a courtesy visit in his country home at Ogbunike, Oyi Local Government Area, Anambra.

Ogbuefi Chuma also enjoined politicians in the Oyi/Ayamelum to play politics without bitterness. This is coming as Lady Ifeoma Okoye and the group promised to continue with the ongoing campaign against the abuse of  Online Media Community by desperate politicians who have deployed unprofessional media aides for cyberbullying, character assassination, and blackmailing.

Speaking to the team of seasoned media practitioners, Chuma noted that the media war currently going on in Oyi/Ayamelum Federal Constituency was as a result of tampering with the zoning arrangement by the incumbent federal lawmaker, Onyenwife.

“In 2010 major stakeholders in Oyi/Ayamelum Federal Constituency met and agreed on a zoning formula of 8-year tenure per each of the two LGAs that make up the Federal Constituency. Ayamelum LGA will be serving out their turn in 2019 for Oyi to mount the seat at the Federal House of Representatives, but the incumbent lawmaker from Ayamelum is seeking reelection against the popular zoning arrangement.

“The lawmaker could not even convince the people why he should be reelected when the constituency  is bereft of social amenities, such as good roads, youth empowerment, employment opportunities, schools, healthcare, portable water among others, there’s no verifiable constituency projects one can ascribe to the incumbent federal lawmaker. He has performed abysmally low and should not be returned, that’s the song everywhere in Oyi and Ayamelum. Onyenwife must go!

“Yes, I’m promoting Ekene Enefe because he will do far better than the incumbent House of Reps member. Enefe will not make promises that he cannot keep. Whatever he promises, he will do for Oyi/Ayamelum Federal Constituency” Ogbuefi Chuma said.
