“It is expedient to acquire education whether formal or informal; a skill to earn a living. The world now is globally digital. We must catch up with the digital age and plan accordingly. Play time is over. This must be a collective effort. We must be the change we want to see in the world. The time is now! The job of any good government is to improve the quality of lives of its people and also protect lives and properties. We must therefore, also follow other practicable and functional commitments in attaining this goals.”

Post pandemic world obviously will be a more competitive and it is better for us to face some of the challenges ahead. Emphasis must be on education including adult education, agricultural and manufacturing sector. Human capacity development and empowerment are some of the ways to build back better, transforming our relationship with nature and dismantling discrimination across all fronts, which causes a lot of people to be poor. In Ikorodu Local Council, as one of the closest tiers of government to our residents, our priority is to end persistent poverty. We must therefore, curb our excesses, think and consolidate on being a productive economy more than just a consuming one.”
