The late Prince Frank Oduah dies at 69
Former executive member of Nigeria Football Association (NFA) and four times board member of the Anambra State Sports Council (ANSSC), Prince Isidore Oduah is bereaved.
Prince Oduah lost a brother, Prince Frank Oduah, who died recently at the age of 69. P.M.EXPRESS reports that the late Oduah hailed from Ochuche Umuodu in Ogbaru Local Government area of Anambra State. He was a Contractor with Mobil Nigeria before he died. He was survived by a wife and children.
Prince Isidore Oduah, who is the Financial Secretary of Association of Sports Veterans of Nigeria told PM EXPRESS that his brother Frank was loved by many people, adding that his demise has been a great lost to the family and indeed the entire Ochuche Umuodu community in Anambra State.
“We have planned an elaborate funeral rites for him in our town in the East. The Oduah Ochuche, Odoboh Chukwurah, has informed all members of the family and every son and daughter of Agabah Igwe and Alanza’s families that there will be get together at the Obi Alanza’s palace on 14 December for him to do official kick off of the burial rites for our dear brother.
“As the traditional head of the town, the Oduah Ochuche will start the burial with prayers and all other traditional rites for a befitting passage of Prince Frank Oduah before the proper burial on 15 December, ” said the former Vice Chairman of Anambra State Football Association (ANSFA).
Prince Isidore Oduah, who is the chairman of Nigerian Awards For Sporting Excellence (NASE), which takes place in Lagos on 2 December said that “Frank was a wonderful, trusted, reliable and a useful brother to the family. He was the President General of Ogbaru Progressive Union in Lagos and also the President Ochuche Development Union in Lagos. We will all miss him greatly. Rest in the Lord Frank. ”
