P.M.EXPRESS reports that the incident happened at Jakande Estate, Ejigbo area of Lagos, where Toyin was deployed to control traffic in the area.
While the female Police officer was performing her lawful duty there, she had an encounter with the 39-year old Ikechukwu Chokuba, who wore an Army uniform. He assaulted Toyin and reportedly beat her mercilessly before he was held and taken to the Station for interrogation.
While the assault lasted, Toyin reportedly did not fight back because she thought he was a Military officer not knowing he was fake.
This got exposed when he was interrogated at the Police Station; he confessed that he was fake and was using the uniform as cover on the road.

He pleaded not guilty.
The prosecutor, Inspector Benedict Aigbokhan, then asked the Court to give a date for hearing for the Police to prove that he committed the alleged offence.
