First Ever International Drinks Festival Comes To Lagos

It was a night of drinks, interaction, education and networking on Thursday 10 August at the unveiling of the first of its kind ever in Nigeria International Drinks Festival at The Balmoral Convention Centre, Federal Palace Hotel, Lagos.

The International Drinks Festival is a festival that will bring Industry’s top brands, professionals and consumers in a groundbreaking experience geared towards moving the drinks business forward in Nigeria.

The event, proudly powered by Balmoral Group, will take place from the 1 – 3 December, 2017 at the Balmoral Convention Centre, Federal Palace Hotel and is going to be an event of Exhibition of various drinks brands, Masterclasses with various drink professionals, various summits which will give the attendees opportunities to ask questions and interact with the drink experts.

Ezekiel Adamu, CEO of Balmoral Group, while speaking at the unveiling said the Drinks Festival is about the economic benefits derivable from the beverage sector of the economy.

He noted that in spite of been the first of its kind, companies are already bidding for spots at the festival while assuring that it will be a one of a kind event and an eye opener to the Beverage industry in Nigeria.

Prior to the unveiling, there was a fascinating spectacle during the red carpet segment with various drink sections including beautiful local palm wine drink corner, the exquisite juice bar and the fun beer parlor spot.

The Entrance was lit up with beautiful ladies welcoming the guests.

TV presenter, Mimi Onalaja was also on the red carpet to gauge the mood and feelings of the guests and find out about their expectation of the upcoming festival.

International model and TV presenter, Idia Aisien hosted the unveiling, while Comedian Pencil enliven the atmosphere with smooth ribcracking jokes.
