Organised by the Lagos State Grassroots Football Association and sponsored by JOF Nigeria Limited, a leading manufacturing and supply chain services company, the tournament has provided a platform for young football talents across the state to showcase their abilities.

The 2026 edition, which ran from February 6 to April 7, featured 64 clubs representing 57 Local Government Areas and Local Council Development Areas (LCDAs) across Lagos State. A total of 84 matches were played across three venues, highlighting the depth of grassroots football talent in the state.

According to the Managing Director of JOF Nigeria Limited’s Transportation Division and Chairman of the tournament’s Organising Committee, Mr. Adeyinka Adetunji, this year’s competition has lived up to expectations by uncovering and promoting some of the state’s most promising young footballers.
