Governor Bassey Otu of Cross River State has praised President Bola Tinubu’s “magical” leadership and economic reforms, describing them as transformative and worthy of continuity.

Speaking at the APC South-South Stakeholders Meeting in Benin City, he reaffirmed the region’s full support for Tinubu’s second-term bid, citing progress under the Renewed Hope Agenda, including subsidy removal, forex reforms, and increased investor confidence.

Otu emphasized Cross River’s early alignment with the APC despite initial political isolation, saying the state’s decision has been vindicated by national growth and renewed economic stability. He highlighted initiatives such as the student loan scheme, consumer credit access, and agricultural incentives as evidence of impactful governance.

Calling for party unity and consistency in leadership, Otu urged stakeholders to rally behind Tinubu, warning against disrupting a “working formula.” He concluded with prayers for the South-South, the APC, and Nigeria, expressing faith in Tinubu’s continued national transformation.
