Barrister Chuks Ezewuzie has been promoted to Special Adviser to the Governor of Anambra State on Disability Matters. The Anambra State Governor, Chief Willie Obiano, made the pronouncement yesterday during the State Executive Council meeting at the Government House, Awka.
The pronouncement by the Governor came after a special presentation by a community of persons with disabilities, to the Executive council members.
Governor Obiano, who explained that Barrister Ezewuzie will be sworn-in by the next Executive Council meeting, pointed out that the promotion is with immediate effect.
The Governor praised the efforts of the office of the Governor on disability Matters for improving the lives of persons with disabilities, and asked Barrister Ezewuzie to continue to be in the vanguard of promoting the affairs of persons with disabilities.
Making a presentation earlier, Barrister Ezewuzie appreciated the Governor for running an all-inclusive government, one that doesn’t discriminate on the basis of ability or disability.
