The Member Representing Anambra East Constituency in the State House of Assembly Pharm. Obinna Emeneka has called on all Nigerians to unite against all odds and fight for the sustenance of the country’s democracy.

In his goodwill message to Nigerians as the country commemorates her nineteen years of uninterrupted democracy, the lawmaker regretted that the nation is still being threatened by the issues sectionalism, tribalism, religious affiliations, unabated killings, flagrant abuse of court orders, corruption, fundamental human rights violation, marginalization, underdevelopment among others & stated that no nation will develop amidst all these avoidable problems.

The lawmaker noted that unless the federal government makes a pragmatic & concerted effort to arrest the ugly trend, the indivisibility of the country maybe at risk, as their is serious tension, apprehension and agitations across the country.

According to the pharmacist cum politician, Nigeria is blessed with rich human & natural resources that’s enough to make the country one of the most developed in the globe, but what’s lacking is lacking is leaders with foresight & the zeal to take the bull by the horn.

Pharm. Emeneka who applauded the ingenuity & i-can-do spirit of Nigerians, most especially Ndi Anambra, paid glowing tribute to governor Obiano for his exploits in the state which he noted, has made Anambra the true light of the nation.

He urged Nigerians to ensure that they vote politicians that are competent in all ramifications in 2019 general elections & avoid the sentiments of tribalism and religious affiliations in order to move the nation forward.

The erudite scholar while wishing Nigerians happy celebration charged Nigerian youths to rise above board and participate actively in next years general elections.
