As millions of fans worldwide celebrated Arsenal’s historic Premier League championship after a 22-year wait, Guinness, the Official Beer of the Premier League and Official Global Partner of Arsenal, hosted an unforgettable season finale watch party. Gathering over 500 passionate Arsenal supporters and football lovers at Guinness HQ in Lagos, with a simultaneous watch party at Abuja, the night was a great celebration of triumph and premium enjoyment.

Sunday’s grand finale marked the culmination of a monumental season-long series of Guinness MatchDay viewing parties. Throughout the season, the brand successfully brought genuine stadium energy to bars and 3rd spaces in over 10 cities, including Awka, Portharcout, Ibadan, uniting more than 10,000 passionate fans and Guinness consumers in shared football experiences.

On the Premier League Finale, the energy was off the roof as fans watched Arsenal secure a gritty 2-1 victory. The main event at Guinness HQ, Lagos, delivered a huge football celebration, amplified by the presence of top entertainment personalities and BBN stars like Koyin, Bella, and Prince in Lagos, while Dede’s presence lit up the Abuja venue. Hosted by dynamic sports influencer Chief SUO, the evening perfectly captured the roaring energy of devoted Arsenal fans who had waited over two decades for this milestone.

“Football is a cultural touchstone that brings out the most profound moments of joy, passion, and connection among fans,” Ifeoluwapo Odedere stated during the celebrations. “As the Official Beer of the Premier League and a proud partner of Arsenal, our goal with the MatchDay Sessions was to curate a space where fans could truly savour these monumental occasions. Guinness is fundamentally about celebrating greatness together. Seeing the absolute elation in the room tonight reinforces why we are so passionate about fueling the beautiful game.”

Attendees were treated to an immersive experience featuring non-stop music, perfectly poured free Guinness, and the high-stakes excitement of a Predict and Win challenge. Fifteen brilliant fans who correctly predicted the final scoreline were rewarded with Guinness MatchDay jerseys and a week’s worth of the Guinness FES & Guinness Smooth. Seamlessly transitioning from an energetic viewing party into a pulsating afterparty, it was a fitting end to a spectacular season. The Guinness MatchDay Finale proved once again that the greatest footballing victories are best enjoyed together over a bottle or can of ice-cold Guinness.
