The National Deputy Chairman, Association of Local Government Vice Chairmen of Nigeria, Executive Vice Chairman of Ikorodu Local Government area and the Global President, Yoruba Council of Women World-wide (YCWW), Ààrẹ’birin (Hon.) Princess Folashade Olabanji-Oba, has expressed shock over the death of Mrs. Dayo Ajimotokan- Gbajabiamila.
Mrs. Dayo Ajimotokan- Gbajabiamila, before her death at the weekend, was Women Leader of the South West Agenda for Asiwaju 2023, SWAGA, in Surulere, Lagos.
In an emotion laden message, Hon. Princess Folashade Olabanji-Oba said, “I received with shock the sad news about the death of an amiable friend, Mrs. Dayo Ajimotokan- Gbajabiamila. I did not know what to think when I was informed about her demise having in mind all that we had discussed recently”.
“Dayo Ajimotokan- Gbajabiamila was very passionate about having an Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu as President come 2023 and she displayed that in her commitment to the activities of SWAGA.”
“As Women Leader in Surulere, she showed genuine commitment and will be sorely missed. As a friend, I’ll surely miss her company as we often shared thoughts together.
I pray for the peaceful repose of her soul and equally ask God to give the family the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss” Princess Folashade Olabanji-Oba concluded.
