The Honorable Representative of Oluyole Federal Constituency, Tolulope Akande-Sadipe, has commiserated with the family and people of Oyo ‘Empire’ on the demise of the Chief Imam of Oyo, Sheik Moshood Ajokidero III.
In a statement by Lekan Olusada, her Media aide, Hon Akande-Sadipe attested to the late cleric’s fortrighness, diligence and kindness.
She noted that the death of Sheik Moshood Ajokidero 111 is a great loss to the Muslim community in Oyo State and Yoruba Land as a whole.
The Honorable Representative extended her deepest condolences to the family of the deceased and the people of Oyo Empire.
Akande-Sadipe, who Chairs the House Committee on Diaspora said, “everyone can attest to the character of Chief Imam of Oyo. He was forthright, unpretentious, diligent, kind, a man filled with the fear of Almighty Allah and he was a great Islamic Scholar. My deepest condolences to his family during this difficult time. They are in my thoughts and prayers.”
Hon. Akande-Sadipe also sent her prayers to the Chief Imam of Ibadan, Sheikh Abdul Ganiyy Abubakri, His Eminence Aare Musulumi of Yoruba Land, Alhaji Daud Makanjuola, all Chief Imams of Yoruba Land, the Islamic Ummahs as well as the people of Oyo Alafin, Oyo State Muslims and Yoruba Land.
The Honorable Representative prayed with fervency to Almighty Allah (SWT) to forgive the Chief Imam’s sins and transgressions and grant his soul Aljannah Fridau.
“He will be genuinely missed” Hon. Akande-Sadipe said.
