Police operatives from the Lagos State Command have uncovered and arrested a 33-year old man, Ikechukwu John, who allegedly specialized in tricking young girls into sex by fondling their breasts, getting the victims confused  and unable to resist his trap.

P. M. EXPRESS reports that for the past 5 months, the suspect allegedly turned a 13-year old girl into a sex slave after fondling her breasts and getting her confused to the point she would not resist the temptation to have sex with him.

The incident happened at Kazzem Street, Alapere area of Lagos, where some young girls were said to be victims as well.

The Police alleged that the tricks worked for John on the latest victim, which landed him in trouble from September 2021 till 25th January, 2022.

However, when the girl realized that she was unable to resist the temptation whenever the suspect, John, lured and touched her breasts, she then opened up to her parents what she was passing through in the hands of their neighbour, John.

The parents reported the matter to the Police in the area for defilement and John was arrested. He was later transferred to the Gender Section of the Command for interrogation.

After thorough interrogation at the Gender Section, the Police found him culpable and subsequently charged before the Ogba Magistrates Court for defilement, which attracts several years of imprisonment if he is tried and found guilty before the Court.

However, when he was arraigned, the Court did not take his plea and ordered his remand in custody without an option of bail following a motion by the prosecutor, Supol Victor Eruada, asking the Court to refer the matter to the DPP for advice since the victim is still a minor.

The Presiding Magistrate, Mrs. M. O. Tanimola ordered his remand in custody and directed the prosecutor to duplicate the file and send it to DPP while she adjourned the matter till 17th March, 2022, for the report of the DPP to be available, which will determine if the matter will be transferred to the High Court or not over jurisdiction.
