A 50-year old man, Diran Elijah, has died in a popular hotel during sex romp with his ex-wife, Idowu, now married to another man and she has been arrested for murder over the death of Elijah in Agbado area of Ogun State.

P.M.EXPRESS reports that the suspect, Idowu, got married to the late Elijah before they separated about four years ago and she remarried to her new husband with two children. The late Elijah had also gotten married to another woman and had a child before they arranged to have sex, which eventually caused his death.

Despite the fact that they were separated and remarried separately, the ex-couple reignited their love affair lately when Elijah contacted her on the phone and they agreed to meet at the hotel around 10pm on that day.
Elijah was said to have had some rounds of sex with Idowu before he suddenly became unconscious, slumped. Idowu then raised alarm, which attracted the management of the hotel. But before he could be rushed to the hospital, he was already dead and his corpse was deposited at mortuary for autopsy test.

The matter was reported to the Police at Agbado Division; Mrs. Idowu was arrested and detained at the station for interrogation over the death.

During interogatiin, Mrs. Idowu confessed that they had sex and afterwards, the man complained that he was tired and wanted to rest. But after some minutes, he became unconscious and died.

Mrs. Idowu also told the Police that they were once married to each other but lost contact after going their separate ways but recently got talking again before they arranged to meet at the hotel for the romp.

According to Police sources, Mrs. Idowu obtained a loan from a microfinance bank and was having difficulty repaying the bank and the bank was said to have sealed the house, where she lives with her current husband at Ifo, Ogun State. She was said to have been sleeping inside a church before she reconnected with Elijah, who then invited her to the hotel and promised to help repay part of the loan.

However, the whole thing took a new turn as the family of late Elijah has told the Police that they were not interested in pursuing any case against Mrs. Idowu and she was released on bail. The corpse of the deceased has been taken to his home town, Ilesa in Osun State, for burial.

The family members said that they were not interested in any Court case. That it was a case of sudden and unnatural death and the suspect has been released on bail.
The Police Public Relations Officer in the state, DSP Abimbola Oyeyemi, who confirmed the incident, noted that the two families had resolved to settle the matter amicably.
