The BOT Chairman of the Igbo Speaking Community, Lagos, Dr Jonathan Nnaji, has bombed the former President of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Lagos State, Chief Solomon Aguene, by stating that he does not need to join issues with an illiterate, who has caused problem in Ohanaeze and indeed Ndigbo out of greed.
P.M.EXPRESS reports that Dr Nnaji stated this in response to comments by Chief Solomon Aguene against Dr Nnaji for the BOT to have disassociated itself from the clandestine joint meeting he organized with others for his selfish interest.
Chief Aguene had accused Dr Nnaji of being jealous and envious of him for the BOT to have disassociated itself from the meeting and advised the authentic Council of Ndieze not to participate in the meeting he organized with Chief Sunday Ossai and others.
Dr Nnaji explained that there was nothing personal about the decision of the BOT not to be involved in such unrealistic and reasonable meeting to consolidate on illegality by using Ohanaeze to crown 15 Ndieze from among his kinsmen in one day and wanting to legitimize the absurdity of flooding Lagos with Ezendigbo.
Dr Nnaji stated that Chief Aguene exposed his ignorance by not knowing that the BOT remains the custodian of Igbo Speaking Community, Lagos and the only organisation empowered to crown Eze through the Act of Parliament in Nigeria.
“This is a man, whose tenure elapsed in Ohanaeze as President and he claimed that he spent money to get Consent Judgment and caused serious trouble in Ohanaeze for several years in Lagos.”
Nnaji asked to know the purpose of the joint meeting called by Chief Aguene and his group other than to deceive Ndigbo and legitimize the illegal Eze he crowned during his tenure as president of Ohanaeze.
Dr Jonathan Nnaji reiterated that there is only one Council of Ndieze formed and recognized by the BOT under the leadership of Eze Ephraim Nnaemeka and any other meeting called without consent of the authentic Council of Ndieze is null and viod.
He explained that Ohanaeze has no business to crown Ezendigbo in diaspora and it was the recklessness and irresponsibility of Chief Aguene that has caused the confusion and problems among Ndieze and Ohanaeze in Lagos State.
Nnaji stated that he belong to Ohanaeze Ndigbo under Imeobi and cannot be part of the fraudulent Ohanaeze under Aguene, whose target is to assemble some gullible people for the 2027 election.
Dr Nnaji stated that Ohanaeze Ndigbo Lagos State was in serious crises over the years because of Chief Aguene’s greed and selfishness by procuring consent judgment strange to Ohanaeze constitution.
