The ongoing Ramadan Cup has reached the quarter final stage at Igando Palace playground, Alimosho, Lagos.
Among the teams that booked places in the quarter final are Citadel FC, Aje United FC, Baggio FC, Riskat Rafiu Dada FC, Sammy FC, IGFC and Kingbest FC
The winners in the between Ever Increasing FC and Fowosere FC would join the last eight in the quarter final.
The Managing Director of Evergreen Groups Limited, Chief Iyk Madu-Obi who doubles as the cup donor said that the competition started well. He urged the organizers to give their best to ensure that all the quarter finalist are treated equally.
“oI am satisfied with the team spirits of the participating teams. Every team play well to make the tourney better than the previous editions. I wish all the quarter finalists best of luck in their remaining matches,” he said.
The Chairman Organizing Committee, Prince Sulaiman Gbadamosi warned the team to play the game according to the rules and regulation, saying that any team that violates the rules would be sanctioned accordingly.
He said the competition is in crucial stage and all the teams must abide by the rules governing the game.
“The quarter final would start this week and we are using this medium to let the team know that the organizers would not condoner any act of violence during and after the game,” he said.
