Ikeja Youths Honour Sole Administrator, Engr Taiwo

The Sole Administrator, Ikeja Local Government, Engr Taiwo (2nd right) after he received award from the Silver Boys at his office Friday. 

For his support and for empowering the youths in Ikeja, the Sole Administrator, Engr. Abiodun Taiwo was honoured on Friday in his office by The Silver Boys – an umbrella body of youths from different wards in Ikeja

The group, which was led to the council  headquarters by its President, Mr Rafiu Oseni, presented an award to the Sole Administrator for his selfless service to the community and the youths in particular.

The leader of the group told P.M. EXPRESS  that the Sole Administrator blazing the trail was not restricted to the different projects in the council  headquarters but extended to human capacity development. He said the award was their own way of showing appreciation and support to his administration.

Responding, Engr. Abiodun Taiwo said he was pleasantly surprised that his little contributions within few months in the saddle at the local government was recognized and appreciated by the youths. He pledged to always support them and encouraged them to continue to contribute to the peace and development of Ikeja.
