The Council Boss made the statement during Inyom Nnobi Women Association summit (INW) at Nnobi.
In her statement, she said, “The exclusion of women from decision-making bodies limits the possibilities for entrenching the principles of democracy in a society, hindering economic development and discouraging the attainment of gender equality. I will ensure fairness in the treatment of men and women in Idemili South Local Government area”.
The Council Boss, Iyom Idemili, also thanked them for their support to Anambra State Government and Governor Charles Soludo and pleaded with them to continue supporting the Executive Governor and also continue praying for God’s protection upon him as he continues in his dream to make Anambra livable homeland.
The President-General of Inyom Nnobi Women Association thanked the Council boss and promised that Inyom Nnobi will not only support Professor Charles Soludo and Idemili South Local Government but they will be praying for successful tenures.
